Engagement Sessions
This is the first time I get to interact with the couple, and I hold this time dear. I really enjoy getting to know them, laughing and finding out what makes them show their real emotion. This is so important to have before the wedding because without it, the day of the wedding comes and ms. photographer shows up with lenses and cameras and basically becomes a distraction and doesn’t allow for the day to flow as peacefully and pleasantly as possible. I always have such a fun time with my couples at engagement sessions and come away as friends. The day of the wedding comes and they barely notice I’m there. This is why I include engagements with every package, Its really important to me to get to know you as a couple and capture that love you have!
The Signature Photo Book
Think of your typical, boring, signature guest book you buy that holds all the many names of those who came to your wedding… Now toss that out the window and imagine a beautifully hand crafted album that is custom designed by our studio, that holds the beautiful images from your engagement session and on each page there’s space for guests to sign and give a message to the bride and groom as they look at the images that were taken. This book will be looked back on for years to come. I know the traditional guestbooks are used often in the South, but trust me, you’ll maybe pull it out a few times, this will be a conversation piece and heirloom for hundreds of years.

Timeline
Wedding Photographs typically start at the beginning of the morning when the Bride is getting prepared for the day, usually in a salon, or place where bride is getting makeup and hair done. Weddings usually range anywhere from 6 hours to 12. It can be as long as you need us there. We would love to capture the whole day, to help create a storybook for your album that really brings you back through every moment of the day.
“The First Look”
Something I love to do is the “First Look”. This is where the Bride and Groom have a time set aside before the ceremony to do their individual portraits together, before all the wedding begins. I know what some of you are thinking, tradition says, not to see the bride before she walks down the isle, but its time for new traditions! The advantage to the first look is that it gives you and your fiance a stress-free time set aside to focus on your beautiful wedding portraits, which is the most important part of the photography. So many times weddings happen later then planned, push the family pictures back and then all that is left for the Bride and Groom is 15 minutes. I want to make your day as stress free as possible, and with the first look this allows for that to happen. It also allows for your guests to be able to see you sooner, and not wait around at the reception for an hour or so while pictures are made. Some couples choose to get the whole family together 45 minutes or so before the wedding and knock those out of the way too, this is really a great idea for those who don’t have a venue for very long and need to get right to the reception. Also I’ll point out that its still a VERY special moment between you and your fiance. I find a quiet, tranquil place that no one can interrupt, and set the groom up, with his back turned to where I bring in the bride and let him see her in her stunning beauty for the first time, capturing his real emotion and feelings, as well as hers.
I do respect those who feel strongly that the first look isn’t for them, I can definitely still accommodate that, but proper planning and scheduling with a coordinator is highly advised to maintain time lines and ensure that we still have the right amount of time to allot to the portraits after the ceremony.
Funky Photo Booth
This is where I set up a “Photo Booth” area where there’s a tripod w/ a camera and lights, background setup with a remote for your guests to visit during the reception, usually in the back somewhere unobtrusive, or in a hallway out of the way. This has been a huge success. People often wait in lines to get their funky photos taken and have a blast doing it. This creates a fun lasting memory for your guests as well. I always have props and fun things to pull into the booth to make it memorable, funny and creative.
Photo Booth Book
This is a perfect companion to the Custom wedding album, and the funky photo booth. It is a smaller custom album full of all the funny faces and crazy memories your guests and you make in our booth. This will be a conversation piece and lifetime of laughter for you and your family.
Custom Coffee Table Wedding Album
This is a 12×12 completely custom wedding album. The pages are flat and images are printed flush w/ the page, there is a strong binding that holds it together and each page is 2mm thick. Its a beautifully handcrafted book to last you for many many lifetimes. I go through a complete album design phase with each client where I custom design each page and every image to perfection and then when the design is complete, I share this with my clients and they get to make adjustments to the book to get it just perfect. After that they get to choose the colors, material, and look of their book, and its off to be produced. These are very unique, and will be a perfect piece to add to your coffee table to share with friends and family. I feel very strongly that every couple should have a book, reason for this is, I know that a lot of people are enjoying the huge digital era where everything is online, on your computer or your phone.. When it comes to printed images they have been somewhat forgotten. Don’t let this happen to the most special day of your life. You spend a lot of time, emotion and money on your day and its so important to have it designed in a album for you in a way that last forever! Sometimes things happen to digital files and they get corrupt, lost or broken, the album will last for your whole lifetime and many more. It is in fact the only thing that truly captures and preserves all the details of your beautiful day that you so carefully planned out and invested in.
