Through my child’s eyes | Day Three

Hello everyone, Welcome to day three of my “Through my child’s eyes” project.  I am really looking forward to sharing today’s images. I decided to write first, then fill in the pictures, only because I’m so exhausted if I don’t write now, you may not be able to make out what I’m trying to say,...

Katie - I absolutely loved today’s post. When I read what Logan said (before you said it) on his notebook I gasped and it just tore my heart out. Sweet boy, I love him. I’ll never forget him screaming “NEMO!” at Avalyn’s birthday party after her opened his Nemo. Haha. You have the most beautiful family and you are such an amazing Mom.

And I’m so blessed to have you in my life!

January 11, 2011 - 8:33 am

Aunt Judy - This is so cool! Logan has always been so cerebral! You can see the wheels turning! I’m glad you guys have this time together to just BE with each other. Before you know it, they’ll be asking for the car keys to go see their friends. Treasure this time, you will never regret it, but believe me you will regret that you didn’t spend time & energy with your kids. Sometimes the most ordinary days become the most special memories! You bring tears to my eyes! Love you!

January 11, 2011 - 3:29 pm

MIkah Wheeler - Today was my favorite Katrina. There is something about waking up to snow that I think I will always love no matter how old I get. I love that “daddy” was on Logan’s mind. Your children are precious and so are you!

January 12, 2011 - 3:07 am

cheryl frye - aww i love it..

Through my child’s eyes | Day Two

Today has been a great day! I’ve spent most of the day w/ the kids or they were playing w/ they’re friend while I did some client calls. So in the later afternoon I had to stock up the fridge and the house, to prepare for this Winter Storm that Atlanta is supposed to have!...

Mandi - Such a cute and fun idea. Love the first picture. How adorable! :)

January 9, 2011 - 4:37 pm

Tasra Dawson - I am SO proud of you for taking action on this incredible idea you have. I absolutely love it and hope to follow along and take some of my own shots “Through my child’s eyes.” Such a rare and fleeting moment of childhood, I think the idea of capturing things at their level is fantastic!

January 9, 2011 - 5:16 pm

Ron Dawson - This is just step 1 of a long journey Katrina. Keep it up. I start my new journey today too. Let’s keep each other accountable.

January 10, 2011 - 2:09 am

Katrina Wheeler - @Mandi – Thanks :)
@Tasra – I’m thankful for your encouragement and friendship! Would love to see what you come up with in that regard.
@Ron – I would love to do that. I’ll definitly keep an eye on yours and encourage you as well. Thanks to you and Tasra for the extra push I needed last night!

January 10, 2011 - 7:13 am

Aunt Judy - This is a great shot! I mostly love it cause Logan isn’t doing his kinda posed grin ;D I also have cancelled my cable TV & have reopened my Netflix account. It was funny because they (the cable company) were scrambling to try to get me a deal & finally I just told them it’s too expensive and most of the stuff I see on TV is trash anyway! Hope you guys stay warm & don’t get “socked in” too badly! Love you!
