Special Prices update and Sneak Peaks for Senior Portraits Mcdonough

Happy Friday everyone!! I hope your as happy as me that the weekend is here! I want to catch up on some pictures I’ve been taking lately, I have enjoyed the last week, my little precious daughter turned 4!!

Before I get into that, I need to be sure to mention something IMPORTANT!!

My Website/Blog Launch Sale that brought my $4500.00 package down to $2900, and gave $500.00 off my other packages, that expires at midnight tomorrow night! That means if your interested, you need to let me know and I can get you a proposal/contract sent to you and you can submit your deposit. The sale also applies for Seniors that bring the senior session down from $300 to $200.  Be sure to get in on that ASAP!

We had her  a skating birthday party, and my son and her had their first experience with skates!! See I secretly really miss skating! When I was in Middle School and High school I LOVED to skate. I use to go often when I would visit my dad on weekends, then when I was in high school I learned to Roller Blade and boy was it on, I LOVED roller blading. See my husband doesn’t really think I can do it, so I thought, OK I will prove him wrong at my daughter’s birthday party…well they did have rollerblades but I couldn’t get them on my feet, I’m not retarted but they just were cheap knock off’s and so I was trying to hurry and get back to my daughter’s party and not be tied up worrying about my skates so I just took the regular ones. Here’s me proving I can skate for my hubby!:)I know its not rollerblades, but I want to do it again, this motivated me. I WILL get into rollerblading!:)My kids liked skating but didn’t “Get it” yet, not fully. Logan my son he was doing really good on the carpet but avalyn just wanted to play!:) Anyway, Sorry I get carried away!:)Here’s a few pics from the bday party!

Don’t laugh to hard at my picture of me! I passed off the camera and so you know its hard sometimes for our friends to figure out the focus button, so i just made it funky and small:)Also, I was on skates taking the others, so don’t be too hard on me:)

Another event I photographed recently was for my church, they do a program called “Back to School Basics”, its where they have the kids in the community come to the church to receive free clothes, ear checks, eye checks and dental exams. They also had haircuts, and some other neat things. So I was photographing the day. Here’s one picture from that:

Then I also had the most fun yesterday, I got to photograph Emilie’s and Justin’s Senior Portraits! We had so much fun! It was REALLY hot, 100 degrees, but it didn’t stop Justin from looking good and Emilie Rocking it! Justin said he was shy at first but I think he was a great sport! I even picked up a few pointers for future “Guy” senior sessions, thanks Justin!:)Hope you like these little previews. More tomorrow!

After Justin’s casual Senior portraits in Little Five Points in Atlanta, we took a trip over to The Carter Center. There is absolute beauty to be seen there. Theres a fabulous Rose Garden, a beautiful garden area behind the museum that has a couple ponds and some gorgeous flowers in bloom. I’m grateful for the staff who had no problem with us shooting the pictures for Emilie and Justin there. More about them tomorrow!:)

Kristel Nubla - Hi There!

So I saw this on facebook and wanted to know more about this lovely offer you have. Lilly suggested you to me a few months back, but I’ve never actually gotten the chance to even start planning details for the wedding till recently. The wedding itse;f is not even till next year Aug (so I have a TON of time before then). I would love to know a little bit more about you, your style, the process and your prices! :)

Engagement "style" photos in Piedmont Park | Atlanta Engagement Portrait Photographer

Hey everyone! I am behind on my posting, I’ve been away at my church’s youth camp for a week and have fallen a bit behind, but I will catch up this week! So much to share, but I think this may be my last blog post until the final reveal of my new blog is done. My website and blog are SO close to being finished I can taste it, I’ve worked diligently with an amazing woman named Jodi and she is so close to finishing I can’t wait to share!:)I have some fun surprises coming on the website! Well in order to get that website done I had a fabulous opportunity to get my promotional video shot by Ron Dawson, from Dare Dreamer Media and so in order to shoot the promo, I needed some models. I asked around who was the cutest couple people knew, cause of course I wanted an adorable couple for my video, and I was sent to Tiana and Steven. They aren’t to the engagement point yet, but they are so in love, and who know’s what the future holds!:)So excited to really capture true love, in its newest stages, that is so exciting to me! I see that newness in them that I still long to have with my husband, of almost ten years. I think being a wedding photographer helps me to keep that flame burning in my marriage, I see the new love, the spark and flame, and it excites me to have that myself. I am blessed to have this talent and to have such amazing clients!:)Enjoy some of the pictures of Steven and Tiana!:)Leave comments please if you want to share in their exciting love story!

Promo Video photo shoot – Wedding and Engagement photos in piedmont park, Atlanta Ga

Today was incredible, yet exhausting! I had an amazing opportunity present itself to get a promotional video of me and my business, by an amazing cinematographer/videographer! He is completly the top of the line! His company is Dare Dreamer Media, and the main man is Ron Dawson. I honestly have dreamed of him doing my promo for at least two-three years. I have seen his work for some of my favorite photographers and always wished he could do one for me! God made a way and I got it done today! YAY! IT was an amazing experience. What I love the most was that he made me feel so comfortable. Sometimes I felt like I didn’t have the right words, or answers and he would guide me calmly back to the point and redirect me to the questions he was asking. He did a interview of me first, alone, then he followed me around on a “Trash the dress” or “Day after Session” for a Bride and Groom. Check out how gorgeous Mandi and Josh Mitchell are:

They were super sweet, easy to work with and so in love! Thanks to Josh for allowing me to get some amazing moments!:) Hope it was worth it! I am grateful to have captured them and helped them to have more lasting memories, sharing the love they still possess after I think was it 3 years Mandi?  She’s a photographer in the area as well, so I was excited that she actually trusted me and wanted me to shoot them!  Hope you love them as much as I do!:)

Then I was so excited to meet Tiana and Steven! They are so in love, and it shows! They have been together about a year and couldn’t be a cuter couple. Seriously, the most stylish and cute!  Thanks guys for showing your love and allowing me to capture it in this time in your lives! They were my engagement couple for the shoot, so more to come of their session, its a little premature, as they technically aren’t engaged, but you wouldn’t know, they were SO in love…and I have my guesses, that we’ll see them again in the future!:)We’ll see!! Their sweet pictures will be coming soon!:)

We did all this at the pretty known and famous “Piedmont Park” in Atlanta. It is a picturesque place for engagements and weddings. Matter of a fact, I’ll be shooting a wedding at the “Park Tavern” there at one end of the park next year! That is going to be beautiful. But it has so many options, grassy areas, ponds, bridges, benches, skyline, rock staircases, a photographers dream pretty much! But one other thing it had, LOTS OF WALKING!! I’m exhausted!:)I couldn’t have made it through without my helper and assistant for the day Rachel! Thanks girl for everything! I definitly think that Piedmont park is my favorite place to shoot, its probably the best engagement location in atlanta! Weddings as well. Its beautiful! We had nice light today and that also was a great thing, if it hadn’t of been for the wind, we might have shriveled!:)

So my day was filled with alot of excitement! Can’t wait to share the trailer/teaser of the video he’s making, please check back and when Its up I will for sure post it! This will be placed in the new website launch, which probably is going to be pushed back a couple weeks for this amazing video that will be the center focus!:)

Have a beautiful Fourth of July and remember why we celebrate such a wonderful day! Thank you for our women and men who serve this country and sacrifice your lives so we can have freedom. I’m forever grateful!
